(And I do hope it is not meant literally, because png is a compressed format, just not a lossy one. Having bmp would be insane!)
Because, if it is exactly what it says on the tin ... why bother? Unless the compression is done very poorly, one should not see the difference. Especially with rendered images. Lossy image compression is bad for 2d (comic) art, because it can fuzz the lines. Here you have no inked lines that could fuzz.
Oh, and if it is both, uncompressed and higher resolution ... uhm ... what file size increase are we talking about?
Oh boy. I paid for the game, I want uncompressed version with the best quality. Cannot download it (transfer quota exceeded). Now I have to pay for the download service additionally.
This is utterly low behaviour.
At least be so "kind" and write some fair warning/information, so people who want the full quality will not only pay you more, but also will know they have to pay additionally for Mega download.

You should not have to pay twice for the same version. Only some publishers are permitted to host files larger than 1GB on itch.io. That is why I had to go with MEGA. And MEGA will not pay back me for the money you paid them. They kept everything to themselves.

I'm unable to run the 1.19 version because it doesn't have an icon. It makes a folder called FreePass-1.19-mac-official-compressed. If I open the folder, I have the standard Contents folder with (apparently) everything inside it, but the application itself is a folder instead of an app. It's possible it's just missing an attribute. Can you take another look? I've purchased the game.
The 1.18 version has an icon, but say "it can't be opened". I'm very familiar with how to launch these apps, with the control key, etc. I have dozens of similar apps from this site. I'd love to know how other Mac users (Latest system for M2) are doing it.

Same here, pCloud requests purchasing a Premium plan or higher in order to download the archive. Enabling "alternate download mode" doesn't help, because either way the download link redirects to pCloud.
BTW, using the itch.io launcher to install "v 1.19 [Reboot] [Uncompressed] (Patched)" simply fails with no error message. Usually, the launcher will at least tell you the requested content is hosted on a third party hosting site with a link to said site. I don't know if that's something to do with a bug or perhaps a configuration issue the dev is responsible for.

I am using the Mac client. I installed the Walkthrough Mod by Joker just fine and the game ran great with the points gained or lost displayed with the choices.
But then I went to start a new game to do different choices. And now the mod doesn't display the points gained lost anymore for this new game.
If I load a save of my original game, the walkthrough guidance is there for that game.
To test what's going on, I copied the entire game folder to a save location. Then I redownloaded both the game zip file and Walkthrough file from Itch. I tried installing the mod in the new fresh game copy and now I can't get it to work! So weird! Is there some settings file saved in system files somewhere on Mac that I need to reset?
Or does the Walkthrough mod only apply to one game once? Any advice much appreciated!

Hello, it's brand new. It was updated by replacing the old item's names and links. That's why the date is so old.

Can't download the "v 1.19 [Reboot] [Uncompressed" as due to high download traffic. You have to buy a premium plan at the host site. Not fun!
